Ray Morrell, CD (ON-1055)

Ray Morrell has been a certified CFSC/CRFSC Instructor/Examiner since 2003. He has delivered these courses to hundreds of students over the past 20 years, and has been recognized as an instructor Mentor. He has had a firearm licence since he was 16, prior to Bill C68 when it was known as a “Firearm Acquisition Certificate” or “FAC”. He has experience in both handgun and rifle shooting, is a qualified Canadian Armed Forces small arms coach, and belongs to a gun club in the St. Catharines area.

Ray has operated Wellesley Consulting Services Inc., the training company behind ONfirearmsafety and its predecessor, GTAGunSafety, since 2012.

He has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012), the Peace Officer Exemplary Service Medal (2019), and the Canadian Armed Forces Decoration (2021).
